Early Christmas Party in Auntie Cecilia House on Fri 27 Nov 2009

Dearest Ethan, our dearest boy,

I brought you to Auntie Cecilia's house today for an early Christmas gathering Party. She is Mummy's colleage. This is the first time that we are going to be apart from Daddy for a few hours since you are born. Mummy hopes that she will be able to handle and take care of you alone. You have been a good boy and did not cry at all though there were so many adults and children in the house with so much noise. You were not scared at all. I am very proud of you, Ethan. Let your confidence continue to shine in you and yet be humble at the same time.

Ethan's Full Month on Sun 22 November 2009

Dearest Ethan, our precious boy,

How times flies! Today is your full month. You have been with us on this beautiful world for 1 month. We hope you have enjoy yourself with us so far. We see the differences in you from the day you was born till now. We can't wait to grow with you but yet at the same time secretly wish that you will not grow up so fast. We hope you also enjoy the mini celebration that Daddy and Mummy had planned and arranged for you. We love you and just can't wait to spend each single day with you.

First 2 weeks with Ethan at Home...

Dearest Ethan, my precious boy,

Mummy don dare to get close to you initially coz you seems so tiny and fragile. Mummy scares that she will hurt you if she don hug or carry you carefully. Thanks GOD that Daddy is around to advise her and help her. Daddy is so confident to take care of you and he never get enough of you. He is always smiling to you no matter how "demanding" you are. We love you, darling and will never get tired of you no matter how much time and effort we needs to take care of you. Our life is more meaningful with you around.

Finally, the DAY had arrived...on Wed 4 Nov 2009

Dearest Ethan Boy, my Darling,

Today is finally the 14th day and KKH had not confirmed that you are able to be discharged today. Mummy was waiting their call since early in the morning. Finally they called and confirmed that you are able to go home today. Daddy who was sleeping beside me overheard it and jump on the bed in joy. We could not sleep anymore and quickly wake up and prepare to fetch you home. We can't wait to start our days with you, our precious son.

During the 14 Days while You are Still in KKH

Dearest Ethan, My Darling Boy,

Mummy was having a tough time at home during her confinement when she was discharged. She missed you very much, very much and often shed tears secretly while thinking of you. She is unable to visit you daily in hospital coz she was too weak to do so. Thanks GOD that Daddy visited you daily in hospital and took photos/videos to share with her at home daily. What Mummy can do for you at these moments is just to provide you with her breast milk. Mummy hopes that you will recovers soon and grow more healthily with her breast milk. Mummy loves you.

A Sad New on Sat 24 October 2009

Dearest Ethan, my most precious boy,

Mummy was happily preparing to be discharged from hospital together with you today. To my disappointment, they told me that you are still unable to be discharged yet and you will need to stay ALONE in hospital for another 14 days. My heart sink when I heard that and I just could not stop my tears from flowing down. We have become one. How can they separate us from the first day when we want to start our life at home together? Thanks GOD that Daddy reached in time to console Mummy and assured Mummy that you will be fine. Boy, you must jia you and we can't wait for the day when your jaundice level is back to normal and be home with us. Life is never the same without you between Mummy and Daddy.

Dearest Darling Ethan,

Finally, you are born on Thur, 22 Oct exactly at 10:30am. Mummy had a hard time pushing you out. Thanks GOD that Daddy was beside Mummy to encourage her and told her not to give up. Finally, Mummy gave her last strongest push and you are out. Mummy couldn't stop crying the moment when you are being "thrown" to me. Mummy is so happy to see you after feeling you so many months in my tummy. My darling, we can't wait to give you the best we can. We may not be able to give you the best in this world but we promise to give you the best we can. We love you and will never give you up.
