. Mummy was very excited to see your first performance for me. It was not perfect and you were easily distracted during the performance but it is more than enough for Mummy. Ethan, you teaches Mummy how to appreciate the perfect in the imperfect and you teaches me how simple life can be. It is the best performance that I had watch in my life. Looking at the younger children in pre-nursey class just makes Mummy realized that you are a big boy now. Mummy can't helps it but missed the time when you were younger, treasure the time now and looking forward to the future with a young man of character. I love you, my boy and will always be. "Spare the Discpline, Spoil the Child" on Sunday 6 May 2012

Dearest Ethan Mummy don't know what is wrong with you this morning. You are not listening to your teachers' instructions. You are not listening to Mummy! You

are not playing on the keyboard. You simply refuses to obey though Mummy had warns you more than once that your privileges (car ride and a visit to the playground) will be forfeited if you continue to behave the way it is now. Mummy realized that you have been testing our patience recently and feel that this could be another episode. Thus Mummy decided to stick to what I mention to you. After the music class, you wanted to ride on the car as usual and keep asking me whether do I have any coins. You cried and wailed when Mummy told you that I do not have any coins and this is your punishment for not being obedient in class. Mummy is so tempted to give in you when I see your crying face and knowing that you are looking forward to the car ride once a week. But Mummy stood firm because Mummy hopes that you will grow up to be a man of discipline and a man with self-control. You may feel Mummy is very cruel but rest assured that Mummy's love for you is always there. Love ya always, Mummy!

Ethan's Memories are Improving...

Dearest Ethan, Mummy realized that you can remember more and more nowadays. As experience and habit create new connections in your brain, you become better able to call up these captured images: Mummy's angry face, the way to Popo's house in Punggol, our visit to Universal Studio and etc. Mummy is also much more aware of what is communicate in our little conversation and my promises to you because I know that you will remember it. Mummy is constantly reminding myself to keep the promises that I communicate to you. My dear boy, as you grow up, you will have different kind of memories. Mummy don't prays that you will just have happy memories because you need sad memories to make you to be a stronger person and being

Sickly Ethan

Dearest Ethan Baby,

Today is the 7th day that you are still sick. Mummy feels so heart pain for you. Mummy do not knows how to ease your discomfort but to keep assuring you that I am always by your side taking care of your needs. Thanks GOD that Mummy has a supporting boss and colleagues that she can concentrate to take care of you at home. Enrolling Ethan in Music Class on Sunday 18 March 2012

Dearest Ethan Baby,

Mummy decided to enrol you in the Music Class after the trial class today. Mummy feels that I have made the right decision when I see you being so happy and excited in the class. Mummy hopes that by developing your interest in music will help you to be a more confident boy in life and maybe one day use your music to comfort and inspire people around you who need them. In the meantime, Mummy just wants you to enjoy the class. =)

Ethan is a Little "Reading Addict"

Dearest Ethan Baby,

You "demand" for Mummy to read the same book over and over to you every night. Mummy knows that you love the sense of power that comes from knowing what's on the printed page and since you cannot read it for yourself, the next best thing is to memorize it. In order to memorize it, you will keep asking Mummy to read it so that you can hear the story read over and over. =) Mummy thanks GOD for the patience to always read to you with enthusiasm and love no matter how many times you ask me to read the same book. =p

We are so excited to bring you to Universal Studio today though we know that you may be too young for most of the rides. Mummy must admit that she is very eager to visit the studio herself, too. You were very cranky and uncooperative in the morning. Mummy is so worried that the visit is not going to be enjoyable because you have "used up" so much of my energy. You always never fail to surprise Mummy. You start to call me by my name on one fine night, waited for my response and gave me a cheeky smile. Subsequently, you begin to call me by my name every now and then. Mummy don't mind you calling me by my name because that doesn't mean that you don't respect me. It is just another way to address me. Mummy is just surprise that you don't address Daddy as name but only ME and I wonder what is the reason. =)
